Parking at Uni

Please be aware that there is no public or student parking in the Sports Precinct (i.e. in the immediate vicinity of the hockey pitch).

Public Parking

Public parking is available either on-street (may be metered), or at nearby car parks:

Eastern Precinct car park
375 Cardigan St

Royal Parade car park
Entry just past Genetics Ln (Gate 12), off Royal Parade

University Square car park
Entry from Berkerley St or Bouverie St (both just off Grattan St)

Elgin St car park (not affiliated with the University)
215-217 Elgin St, just west of Lygon St

Students with a parking permit may park after hours (after 5pm, & weekends) free in either:

The University is well served with public transport. The nearest tramstops to the hockey pitch are:

Route 19 (Royal Parade)
Stop 12: Morrah St

Routes 1 & 8 (Swanston St & Lygon St)
Stop 111: Swanston St & Elgin St

Routes 3, 5, 6, 16, 64, 67, 72 (Swanston St)
Stop 1: The University of Melbourne terminus at Faraday St
